Roof Anchor Testing

According to OSHA standards 1910.27(b)(1)(i), before utilizing any rope descent system, it is essential that the building owner provides written confirmation to the employer. This confirmation must indicate that the building owner has conducted roof anchor testing to identify, test, certify, and maintain each anchorage, ensuring it can support at least 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg) in any direction for each employee attached. This information must stem from an annual inspection performed by a qualified person, along with certification for each anchorage as part of the required safety equipment.

Annual Inspection

We understand the importance of adhering to OSHA standards for both safety and liability. Our annual roof anchor testing services are performed by qualified professionals who thoroughly assess each anchor to ensure compliance with the requirements of OSHA regulations. We provide detailed documentation and certification to help building owners fulfill their responsibilities regarding safety equipment.

Let us take the stress out of compliance with our trusted and professional anchor inspection services.

Process

Our team will conduct comprehensive roof anchor testing to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations. Each roof anchor will be pull-tested to the required capacity in any direction as mandated. The process includes:

Testing and Documentation:

- Perform pull tests on all roof anchors.

- Document the results for each test.

Engineer Approval:

- Have the results reviewed and stamped by a licensed engineer.

Anchor Mapping:

- Map out the location of each roof anchor for clear reference.

Result Sharing:

- Provide a complete report of findings and results to the client and building manager.

- Maintain an on-site copy for use during exterior work.

This thorough process ensures safety, compliance, and transparency for every project while utilizing the best safety equipment available.
